Bringing art to life, pt I

Bringing art to life, pt I

Earlier this year, actress Julianne Moore was shot by Peter Lindbergh for a fashion spread for Harper’s Bazaar, in a shoot which took inspiration from art paintings.

Check out the results, side by side with the originals:

“Woman With a Fan”, 1919 by Amadeo Modigliani

“The Cripple”, 1997 by John Currin

“Man Crazy Nurse #3″, 2003 by Richard Prince

“Seated Woman With Bent Knee”, 1917 by Egon Schiele

“Madame X”, 1884 by John Singer Sargent

“Adele Bloch-Bauer I”, 1907 by Gustav Klimt
